Young Kam Shows The Way

On one of the worse days of the summer so far, the start was delayed by heavy rain. Nuneaton who were in second place in the league were determined to play regardless of the conditions. Our guys felt quietly confident but we weren’t going to let on that availability at Ashfield was pretty strong. Having lost the toss we were asked to bat 1st. with the match was reduced to 46 overs per side. Kam stood tall with an impressive 87 to set up a total on 203. In reply Amer again took charge by taking 6-23 to set up the win. There’s still mileage left in the old man (Amer Hussain).
